Vancouver BC Certification Class, Nov. 10th

What a fun weekend! I'm sure that everyone who attended now has tons of ideas and fun memories of the event. Hopefully everything you learned will sink in and you'll make the bestest projects from the techniques we covered.

Here is a photo from Sherrie Siemens' blog of the two of us smiling together as I'm signing people's certificates at the end of a long day. Go visit her site for a cool blog giveaway :) Sherrie is a gem and a big help when it comes to teaching a large group like we had in Vancouver.

Also, check out the following sites for more fun and photos from the Vancouver class-

Seattle Certification, Nov. 7th

Oh boy was this a fun class! It was a small room but we loved every minute of the WARM friendships we built over the day. Just a word of caution- when you go to lunch, don't all pick the same restaurant :(

Here is a photo courtesy Michelle White from Paper Tales. This gives you an idea of how much fun we have and what a mess we make during these classes. Here I am fingerpainting with Copics by dripping ink onto blobs of hand-sanitizer on glossy paper. Always fun for a reaction. Check out the rest of Michelle's site for more fun photos of the class.

Here are links to more photos courtesy other sweet ladies in the class.

Kansas City Weekend, Oct 9-11

What a great event we had. Two certification classes, one SCS get together, and a visit to the Creating Keepsakes convention. From left, here's a photo of my two roommates Sharon Harnist, (me) and Lori Craig, and last but certainly not least, Terry Cain who coordinated the hotel arrangements. This was a blast of a weekend! I can't wait to see everyone again. (photo courtesy of Sharon, but I don't know who snapped the pic).

For more pics, check out Misti's blog. No comment on the candy corn!

More Charleston Class stuff

To get the full story about this class you need to read Keri's account.

Meanwhile, here are more photos, courtesy Mary Kelly. She did a nice job capturing the climax of each certification class, the signing of the certificates- Very important of course. Whenever I sign these I usually am struggling to stay focused because we always end up giggling and getting VERY sidetracked during the last few minutes of my classes. The photos make me look like I know what I'm doing, but really I'm a scatter brain by the time 4pm comes.

Charleston, SC Class October 1

What a fun bunch and what a fun class!

A special thanks to the little brown men who finally brought us our class supplies, though we made do, in thanks to Keri Lee Sereika and her amazing marker sharing once again (she's making a habit of saving Copic when our packages don't arrive).

I was sent some photos by Broni Holcombe, so here you go. As I get more I'll post them. I'll see everyone in KC!

You're so close, yet so far...

If you're looking for Marianne Walker's blog about Copic techniques then go find her at I Like Markers.

Otherwise you've stumbled on I Love Markers, Marianne's other site that is here to tell you to go look somewhere else.

I might randomly post something on this site about my total obsession with Copic markers or photos of classes, or other stuff to fill up space, but that's a surprise and I won't tell you about it. Be content to get your daily Copic dose from my other blog.
